From our website design portfolio: Plescon Security Products

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Plescon has been a family run business dedicated to the library security sector for over 30 years.

Thanks to support from Business Link East, Plescon realised it was eligible to take advantage of a new funding scheme called takeITon.

They chose Rubious to redesign their website – including Content Management System, eCommerce, Instant Chat, Members’ area and Members’ Forum. They then added a 3D library fly-through which was produced by another local company, NBS Studios.

From our website design portfolio: Tour-Smart

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Tour-Smart is an online magazine website and email newsletter published by travel enthusiasts who are also travel professionals, ie travel writers, experienced editors and photographers. Every month they will be publishing a selection of new articles and news items for different locations around the world.

Tour-Smart came to us with the talent and ideas to produce their online magazine, and asked us to complete that vision by building their website and setting up their email marketing system.

We designed and built the website to focus on readability of the articles, and also to give Tour-Smart the ability to edit the website content (with a Content Management System) and show relevant advertising to visitors.

The monthly email newsletter was also designed and built by Rubious, which allows them to feature different articles each month and send them out to interested subscribers.

You can view the website, and sign up to their free newsletter, by visiting www.tour-smart.co.uk

From our website design portfolio: SoccerKidz

Monday, February 1st, 2010

SoccerKidz offer a range of football courses for boys and girls aged 5-14, and was co-founded by professional footballer David Livermore and professional football coach Mark Drane.

They needed a website that was fun and easy to use, including an online booking and payment facility and Content Management System.

Rubious built a fantastic website which is bursting with energy to encourage children and their parents to take a look. We also integrated their Facebook Fan Page into the website so everyone can keep up to date with SoccerKidz.

After we completed the work, David Livermore had this to say:

Once again can i just say how happy we are with the website. It really is more than we ever imagined it would be, thank you very much.
